Kelli Gherasim
Registered Clinical Counsellor & Canadian Certified Counsellor
Kelli is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Canadian Certified Counsellor who supports teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and disordered eating. She is particularly experienced in helping clients who feel overwhelmed by intrusive thoughts, emotional distress, or difficult relationships with food and their bodies.
Kelli holds a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and has extensive experience working in mental health and addictions. She has completed additional specialized training in trauma-informed therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD, and eating disorder treatment. She is a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, and the Canadian Eating Disorders Association.
Her work is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based care. She integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, somatic approaches, and parts work to support clients in developing insight, emotional regulation, and lasting change. Kelli works collaboratively, respecting each client’s pace, goals, and individual needs.
Kelli brings a calm, compassionate, and human presence to her work. She understands how vulnerable it can be to open up, and she strives to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and genuinely understood.
She is approved to provide ICBC-funded counselling and is covered by most extended health insurance providers.
