Kelli Gherasim
Clinical Intern
Master’s of Counselling Graduate
As a counselling intern, Kelli brings warmth, empathy, and validation into each session, striving to co-create a safe, non-judgmental, and inclusive space for her clients. By using an integrative approach to healing, Kelli tailors her counselling style to best fit your unique needs.
In your sessions, Kelli will draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Person-Centred Theory, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, strengths-based practices, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, to help you determine and achieve your therapeutic goals. Reflecting on and understanding how our life experiences influence our interactions with ourselves and the world can be incredibly freeing and healing.
Kelli’s areas of interest are anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and burnout. She is passionate about supporting you in creating the life you desire. With her formal education, training, and lived experiences, she offers a unique perspective as someone who has done—and continues to do—their own work.
As your therapist, Kelli intends to join you on your journey, providing a supportive environment to explore your thoughts, behaviours, and emotions. She looks forward to connecting with you so that you can recognize, understand, and overcome the obstacles in your path together.
Kelli has completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) through Yorkville University. She is currently waiting for her approval from the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.
