Every family hits bumps along the way — that's simply part of being human. Lisa is here to help families come together, navigate life's challenges, and find meaningful ways forward.

As a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC), Lisa works with children, teens, and their families to build connection, deepen understanding, and create space for real healing.

Growing up isn't easy. Children and young people face a wide range of challenges — navigating school, managing peer relationships, coping with family changes, processing loss and grief, or coming to terms with a new medical or mental health diagnosis. Counselling offers a safe, supportive space where kids and teens can explore what they're carrying without fear of judgment. It's a place to express feelings freely, make sense of big emotions, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships.

With the right support, young people build the resilience they need to face life's hard moments — and come through them stronger.

Lisa approaches every client with compassion and genuine curiosity, guided by a deep respect for each person's unique strengths, story, and lived experience. Her practice is rooted in trauma-informed, client-centred care — one that honours cultural diversity and affirms neurodivergent ways of thinking, feeling, and being in the world.

At the heart of Lisa's work is a belief that healing doesn't always happen through words alone. As a trained Expressive Arts Therapist, she draws on creative modalities — art, movement, narrative, and play — to open pathways that talk-based approaches sometimes can't reach. This is especially meaningful for children and young people, but extends to adolescents, adults, and families as well.

With mindfulness woven throughout her practice, Lisa creates space for individuals and families to explore what matters most, identify meaningful goals, and move toward them at a pace that feels right for them.

Her integrative clinical foundation brings together Expressive Arts Therapy, Synergetic Play Therapy (SPT), AutPlay, Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), EMDR for children, SPACE, SPACE-ARFID, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) — a thoughtfully layered toolkit that allows her to meet each client where they are and support them in finding their way forward.
