Kathleen Krznaric

Masters of Counselling Student

Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vancouver Island University and a Post-Degree Diploma in Interprofessional Mental Health and Addictions from Camosun College. She is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) through Yorkville University.

Kathleen brings a wealth of life experience to her counselling practice. As a wife and partner of 17 years and mother of three, Kathleen recognizes that the nature of life and relationships is complex, dynamic, and, at times, challenging.

With a focus on supporting parents, caregivers, and youth, Kathleen aims to support your healing and self-discovery journey with compassion, safety, flexibility, and non-judgment. Whether you are a new parent navigating life transitions, seeking to create healthier connections, experiencing stress or burnout, struggling with self-esteem or managing trauma, Kathleen will work collaboratively with you to identify your goals, overcome barriers, facilitate growth, empowerment, self-discovery and self-compassion. Kathleen’s approach is grounded in client-centered, strengths-focused, growth, and resilience-oriented philosophies, utilizing a trauma-informed, inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming lens.

Beyond her professional life, Kathleen loves to spend time outdoors with her family and is an avid traveller who treasures exploring new places and cultures. She also enjoys spending time with her mini-labradoodle, baking goodies for friends and family, and playing piano.

Kathleen will be available:
